Introducing Charlotte Briggs to the THRIVE Consulting Team
THRIVE is excited to announce the addition of Charlotte Briggs, Ph.D. to the THRIVE consulting team as our new Subject Matter Expert - Strategic Planning and Organizational Development.

Dr. Briggs brings 25 years of experience guiding strategic planning and change processes for large organizations, including those in health professions education, social services and health insurance. Among other accomplishments, Charlotte has led a multi-year restructuring of the curriculum and faculty roles at a large dental
school, designed and implemented a variety of new programs, and managed the implementation of complex, enterprise-wide compliance initiatives for a regional payer organization, all of which involved extensive cross-departmental or cross-organizational partnerships.
Additionally, Charlotte spent 15 years as a graduate faculty member, researching, publishing, editing manuscripts and teaching about organizational behavior, governance, assessment and planning at the College of William and Mary, University of Illinois at Chicago and Bay Path University. She has published a dozen scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, which have been cited by other scholars nearly 600 times. Charlotte is especially adept at identifying key data required for any type of assessment or proposal, and crafting clear, persuasive written and visual communications. She has used these skills to compile data to assess the feasibility of FQHC-hospital partnerships and to support related proposals to integrate medical education rotations into health center operations.
In addition to her research and writing skills, Charlotte brings extensive experience with grants. She has organized the successful response to a wide variety of grant and RFP opportunities, has been a grants consultant to a national alliance of Historically Black and Hispanic Serving business schools, and served as the external evaluator for several large grant programs for the Ford Foundation and US Department of Education.
Charlotte lives with her wife, two cats and a dog in Western Massachusetts, where she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and rescuing injured and orphaned animals as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
